PURCHASING GUIDELINES BEFORE YOU BUY A SYSTEM
Whether you buy from Gillmore or another company, you owe it to yourself to be certain you're putting your security and safety in reputable hands. Do your homework and follow these guidelines:
- Check with industry and business-related organizations like the Better Business Bureau, NBFAA, OBFAA, HBA and COSE
- Ask neighbors and friends who they use
- Ask for references from the security company
- Find out where the company is based and the area they service
- Find out what type of equipment is used, and if the company hardwires or uses wireless equipment
- Ask who will be monitoring the system and the location of the monitoring center
- Take a tour of the facility
